RIPANÇO 2013 SILVER MEDAL IN INTERNATIONAL WINE COMPETITION

RIPANÇO 2013 JUST RECEIVED THE SILVER MEDAL IN THE 17º MUNDUS VINI GRAND INTERNATIONAL WINE AWARD, IN GERMANY

Ripanço 2013 just received the silver medal in the 17º Mundus Vini Grand International Wine Award, in Germany.

Ripanço is a wine from the Alentejo region, produced in the José de Sousa winery in Reguengos de Monsaraz, Ripanço is a technique which dates back to roman times and was traditionally used in southern Portugal for manually destemming the grapes using a table, ripanço table, with wooden rods. This way, we get a very soft and elegant wine without the harsh tannins of the stems.

O MUNDUS VINI was founded 15 years ago by the German editor Meininger Verlag and became one of the most important wine competitions in the world.
